Known issues

  • QuickCam Express driver version 5 causes crash in Internet Explorer 5.5 on Windows 2000 when using certain mode settings.
To avoid this issue, upgrade the driver to version 6.
  • Kritter USB 2.1 camera (clear-bodied) is known to cause occasional crashes with Flash Player 6 in Windows and Mac OS 9.
  • If you have multiple cameras on Windows, the D-Link USB WebCam (DSB-C100) driver may cause other camera drivers to not work properly.
To remedy this issue, reinstall drivers for all cameras except the D-Lin USB WebCam.
  • On Mac OS 9.2, the D-Link USB WebCam (DSB-C100) shows very gradual fade-in every time the camera is used in Flash Player 6.
  • The ATI Multimedia Video Driver is known to have problems in Flash Player 6. Crashes may occur when using this driver.
  • DV cameras have exhibited some problems such as possible slow performance and possible problems with audio.
  • Using two or more 3Com Home Connect cameras simultaneously may cause greater than expected memory usage.
